The Research Division plays a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data to drive evidence-based decisions and influence policies related to mental health. It operates under three key programs:
Mental Health & Well-being Research:
Our researchers conduct in-depth studies on various aspects of mental health, including causes, risk factors, and intervention strategies. We focus on both general populations and high-risk groups such as students, refugees, and individuals in crisis situations.
Mental Health Financing & Policy Research:
MEF investigates financial barriers to mental health care and advocates for sustainable funding strategies. Our research aims to highlight gaps in mental health services and provide data-driven recommendations to policymakers and healthcare providers.
Data Collection & Policy Advocacy:
We compile and analyze data on mental health trends, service gaps, and intervention outcomes. Using this information, we provide policymakers with recommendations that influence national strategies for mental health care improvement.
This division ensures that all MEF’s initiatives are informed by the latest research and that mental health advocacy efforts are supported by concrete data.
